This tour is best suited for those who want to go on a sea vacation, simultaneously studying the history, traditions and geography of Georgia. We offer you an interesting beautiful road, with a stop on numerous attractions, for 4 days to get to the sea. In this tour we collected all the fun! We start in Tbilisi, and we part with you in Batumi (Kobuleti, Ureki). It is assumed that you are already doing your own rest and accommodation in Batumi. This tour can be carried out in the opposite direction.

Day 1: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Uplistsikhe - Borjomi

So, we are heading west - towards Batumi. First we study in detail the city of Mtskheta - the ancient capital of Georgia, the center of Christianity and the city with the most historical values. Here we examine two ancient temples: Jvari and Svetitskhoveli - UNESCO sites, and the Samtavro monastery. If the third Christian object is not very interesting, then instead of it you can see the ancient pagan fortification of Armazi.
After Mtskheta we go to the cave town Uplistsikhe, a former cult pagan center that has existed since ancient times. And after the inspection of grottoes and caves we go to a local winemaker for dinner, where we will get acquainted with the traditions of winemaking, Georgian toasts and the rules of the feast. We will spend the night in Borjomi.

Day 2: Borjomi - Chiatura - Kutaisi

After the wine feast is best to take a bath and drink Borjomi! We will do this: we will visit Borjomi Park, where you can drink the famous mineral water directly from the source, and then we go deep into the forest, where you can swim in the pool with warm mineral water under the open sky. After visiting the park we go to Kutaisi through the city of the cable cars of Chiatura. Time has died out in this city, and the trains serve the role of public transport. Then we will see another local attraction - the monastery of Katskhi on a stone pillar. In the evening we reach Kutaisi.

Day 3: Kutaisi - cathedrals Bagrat - Monastery of Motsameta - Prometheus cave - Kutaisi

On this day we see the main sights of Kutaisi and its surroundings. We visit one of the four great cathedrals Bagrat temple (UNESCO object), then the most picturesque Monastery of Motsameta on the cliff above the gorge. Also the monastery and the academy of Gelati is another UNESCO object. After that, we'll stop by for lunch and go to Prometheus cave - the most famous natural monument in Georgia. Under favorable weather conditions from the cave, you can swim out on a boat on an underground river. We will spend the night in Kutaisi.

Day 4: Kutaisi - village of Martvili - Chkondidi - Archeopolis - Batumi

So, the last throw to Batumi. Today we visit impressive sights. First we go to the village of Martvili, there we see the ancient monastery of Chkondidi, which played a big role in the history of Georgia. And then we'll visit a place where, in the shade of trees, there is a stunningly beautiful canyon with turquoise water, mosses, griffins and waterfalls. We will walk along the paths over the canyon, as well as ride a boat along the river in a gloomy canyon. Then on the way to the sea we will visit the ancient city of Archeopolis, where the Argonauts sailed behind the golden fleece, and you will hear the extraordinary history of this abandoned city. In the evening we will reach Batumi. Overnight in Batumi.

Day 5: Batumi - Tbilisi

After breakfeast we return to Tbilisi.
