With your booking on this web site you are declaring that you have read, understood and accepted all our Terms and Conditions. Our service

CARex rent a car provides the cheapest car rental service for your travel, business or any other purposes. We attempt to offer you with relevant price quotes for your journey needs. Therefore we have from time to time discountable vehicles. The customers who rent a car two times and more we offer them special discountable coupon code and they have an opportunity to select their favorite car for discountable prices during the booking period. We offer our customers different car rental deals, such as: picking up and dropping off at our office, hotels, airports (Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Kopitnari, Batumi, Mestia) or any other places of Georgia.

Requested documentation and signing the rental agreement

It is request for renter to send us copy of the passport and driver license. To get a car whole process takes on average 10-15 minutes.

 

Driver license

Every license which is printed in Latin or Cyrillic alphabet is valid in Georgia during one year after your arrival. The driver who drives rental car must have valid driving license. They must have at least two years experience of driving, otherwise they won’t be able to hire a car from our company.

 

Booking procedure

We have simple booking procedure on our web site (easiest three steps: search, select, book).

You can book the car in three different ways in our company:

2. Email reservation carexrentcar@gmail.com You can send us your letter and we will answer you immediately.

3. Phone reservation is possible on hotline +995 598 27 28 52 (24/7 service).

 

Cancellation and change of your reservation

If your reservation was already confirmed by our company, you can cancel your reservation yourself on our website up to 24 hours before the rental period starts. In order you want to change the order data, time, length, etc. you must write to us: carexrent@gmail.com  up to 24 hours before the rental period starts.

Rental price and payment currency

Rental prices include:

1. All taxes;
2. 100% car insurance;
3. Unlimited mileage;
4. only a driver’s insurance.

Lari is currency of Georgia. The currency code of Lari is GEL. One Lari is divided into 100 Tetri. If Customer’s have an other currency banknotes for example EUR or USD, we will help them to exchange it according to official exchange rate of National Bank of Georgia.

 

Some important aspects of insurance police

Each car is insured by the leading company in Georgia. The company covers 100% all off traffic accident damages, natural disasters, theft, and etc. In case of accident the driver pays nothing for car or third party damages. If the driver causes an accident they must pay only administrative penalty for violating traffic rules.

Driver and passengers’ lives are insured up to $10 000. To rise the life insurance amount up to $20 000 or $50 000 it is requested to send us copies of your passport four days earlier (at least one day must be a working day) before the rental period. There are 20€ as an additional fee to increase insurance up to $20 000 and 50€ up to $50 000.

 

According to the insurance policy the driver, who drives a hired car, should obey these rules:

  • Driver should be at least 21 years old;
  • Driver must have at least 24 month experience of driving;
  • Driver should not drive under influence;
  • Driver must not move rental car from the accident place and immediately call the police, as well as our office and insurance company.

In case of accident, it is prohibited to move the car before the police fills out necessary paper work. Renter is obliged to call our office and insurance company to inform about accident. Otherwise the insurance company isn’t responsible for reimbursing any damages.

The customers are obligated not to damage tires during off-road driving because it isn’t considered as an accidental damage by any insurance company in Georgia and consequently, expenses aren’t covered. Driver is responsible for tire damages, the fees vary from 40-90 euros.

 

The Insurance Policy includes Assistant Service, which means:

  • In case of flat tire the Insurance Company representative will help the customer to replace it.
  • If the car runs out of fuel, the Insurance Company will provide the customer with enough fuel to help you reach the nearest petrol station. In this case, the driver/customer will be required to pay the fuel price in cash to the Insurance Company representative.
  • If the car battery runs low on power the Insurance Company representative will help the customer to start the car.
  • If rental car breaks down the Insurance Company will send the tow truck to help the customer reach the nearest auto-service.

Deposit

The deposit is used (to the full amount or partially) to pay for the vehicle or other damage in case of any type of accidents. The insurance company covers all the damage costs exceeding the amount of the deposit (deductible).

  • A standard Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) does not cover damage to vehicle wheels, windscreen, windows, and underbody [ A police report of an incident is required ].

  • Super CDW - SCDW [ The insurance also covers the windscreen and tire damage.  A police report of the incident is required ].

 

Customer support service

If customers have problems with the rental car they have to phone to our office immediately and the Technical Groupe will be sent to their location and the car will be either repaired or replaced with a similar one.

 

Customer’s responsibilities:

Customers have to follow below mentioned roles. It is prohibited to consume alcoholic beverages and/or fall under impact of any narcotic substances while driving. The rental cars must not be transferred to third party in circumstances:

1. Minors;
2. People without driving license;
3. People under the influence of alcoholic beverages and/or narcotic substances.

 

Adhere to the traffic rules:

  • It is necessary to use seat belts during the driving by driver as well as front seat passenger.
  • Shall not breach the legislation of the country, where the vehicle is driven
  • Immediately notify office if the vehicle is damaged;
  • Protect the car from damage and keep it safe.
  • Compensate the Lessor if upon the return of the vehicle it is identified that damage and/or harm has been incurred.
  • Pay any fee/penalty levied as a result of the violations in view of the traffic rules and/or legislation in the period of operation of the vehicle.
  • The car must be returned back with the same amount of gasoline that was given out.

 

Speed limit in Georgia

Legal speed limit in towns and cities is approximately 50-60 km/h, on highways 110 km/h. Special traffic signs for speed limit are installed along the roads and highways.

 

Mileage

During the rental period the mileage is unlimited after 2 days.

 

Border Crossing procedure

It is possible to cross the border and take the car to Armenia. In this case, you need special permission approved by a notary. It costs €25.

Therefore send the request three days earlier (one of them must be a working day) and a copy of your passport.

 

Conflict zones in Georgia

There are two conflict zones in Georgia such so-called South Osetia and Abkhazia. The borders are closed. It is forbidden to cross it with our rental car.
