8 days Jeep tour around Georgia from Carex group
Day 1. Tbilisi Airport - Tbilisi
Meeting at the airport with comfortable minibus, our guide will welcome you. Have an
overnight at Holiday Inn.
Day 2. Tbilisi - Didgori - Mtskheta - Tbilisi
After breakfast start the tour from Tbilisi to Gudauri. First place to visit is Didgori. The place where the ,,Miraculous Battle” has taken place 15 centuries back, visit the memorial sightseeing on this place. Drive to Mtskheta – the old capital of Georgia and have a lunch there. Afterwards drive back to Tbilisi. Have a dinner in local restaurant and overnight at the Holiday Inn.
Day 3. Tbilisi - Tsalka - Tabatskuri - Bakuriani
After breakfast drive to Bakuriani.– Ski resort. After Bakuriani drive to Tabackuri lake and Village. On the way to the Lake we will see the Azerbaijani shepherd`s places, (optional visit their camps), afterwards driv to the Tabackuri lake and Village on the lake (100% Armenian ). Drive back to Bakuriani dinner and overnight in the Hotel in Bakuriani.
Day 4. Bakuriani - Vardzia - Bakuriani
After breakfast drive . to Vardzia. Vardzia is the cave city which was constructed as protection from the Mongols and consisted of over six thousand apartments in a thirteen story complex. The city included a church, a throne room, and a complex irrigation system watering terraced farmlands. The only access to the complex was through some well hidden tunnels near the Mtkvari river And return back to Bakuriani. Dinner and overnight at Bakuriani hotel.
Day 5. Bakuriani - Borjomi - Bakuriani
Have breakfast at the hotel and start the tour. Visit Borjomi park, taste the famous mineral warm water ,,Borjomi’’ walk across the park and in the forest (approximately 2,5 km) visit another mineral water natural pool in the forest and continue driving to Bakuriani. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6. Bakuriani - Ananuri - Gudauri
Drive to Ananuri fortress and castle (XVII cc). Ananuri was a castle and seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty which ruled the area from the 13th century. The castle was the scene of numerous battles. Drive to Gudauri ski resort. Dinner and Overnight in Gudauri hotel.
Day 7. Gudauri - Sno - Stepantsminda - Gudauri
After breakfast drive towards Kazbegi. On the way to Kazbegi visit Friendship memorial – dedicated to the 200 years anniversary of Georgia-Russian agreement of military supporting. Visit Stepantsminda village. Drive to Gergeti Sameba church (2200 m) above the sea level, and enjoy the amazing view of Kazbegi glacier (5045m). Visit Sno gorge . Here enjoy the trout catching in the Monks` trout pool and have a lunch at a local person`s house. Drive back to Gudauri, dinner and overnight at Gudauri hotel.
Day 8. Drive back to Tbilisi
Have breakfast and drive to Tbilisi, here will me us a comfortable minibus and we will leave the jeeps and continue the tour. Have some shopping time at Tbilisi Mall, also have lunch and drive straight to the Airport.
